How fast is search?
InflowMail uses full-text indexing across all your synced emails. Most searches return results in under 100 milliseconds, even across 100,000+ emails. The index is updated in real-time as new emails arrive.
Does it search inside attachments?
Currently, InflowMail searches attachment file names and types. You can find emails with specific attachments using has:attachment or search for attachment names directly. Full-text indexing of attachment contents (PDFs, documents) is on our roadmap.
Can I search by date range?
Yes. Use the date filter chips in the search UI, or use syntax like after:2024-01-01 before:2024-12-31 to search specific date ranges. You can also use natural language like "emails from last month" and our AI will parse it automatically.
How far back does search history go?
It depends on your plan. Free accounts include 90 days of email history. Paid plans extend that to years of searchable history — you choose how far back, up to 10 years. When you first connect an account, InflowMail syncs and indexes your existing email archive so search works immediately.
